After completing college and qualifying with a distinction in beauty & body therapy I went to work in a Spa setting to gain experience. From here I got the opportunity to join a work colleague in her beauty & body clinic. I enjoyed working here and this is where my love of all things skincare grew.
Getting to work with medical grade machines and facial peels before they were readily available in salons and finishing treatments with mineral makeup allowed me to study the effect of more natural products on the skin, which later led me to complete a year long course in the study of clinical aromatherapy.
It was while working at this clinic, I undertook a course in Education & Training in Pembroke College in Limerick. In 2010 the principal of the college offered me a tutor position, delivering a course in all things beauty. Soon after I made the move to Limerick where I went on to work full time teaching students in courses such as skincare, advanced waxing, nails, make up, massage and Anatomy & physiology.
Teaching is still one of my favourite things to do. I love the skincare side of the business, teaching clients about their skin and what does/doesn’t suit. I am currently studying my degree in Education and training!!!In 2015 I opened my first business and in 2019 I was delighted to be able to put my own stamp on my business opening @orah_skincare_laser_clinic on main street. At Orah we put major emphasis on client care and providing premium quality products and services.
